Who We Are

Our Story
Ontrack College was established to provide a dedicated pathway for young people in Years 7–10 who need a smaller, more personalised environment to thrive. As part of Gems Education—and working alongside Emerald Christian College and Little Gems Early Learning—Ontrack reflects a long-standing commitment to Christ-centred learning in the Central Highlands.

While ECC provides a traditional schooling pathway, Ontrack was created to support students who have not found success in mainstream settings. The College offers a calm, structured space where young people can re-engage with learning, experience success, and rebuild confidence for their future.

Our Purpose
Ontrack exists to help students “stay—or get back—on a purposeful track that leads to a successful future,” recognising that some young people need a different kind of learning environment to feel safe, supported, and capable of moving forward.

Our program is intentionally designed for students who are ready to re-engage, willing to participate, and seeking a fresh start. Through small class sizes, strong relationships, practical learning, and consistent routines, Ontrack helps students take meaningful steps toward personal growth, academic progress, and future pathways.

Our Christian Ethos
At the heart of Ontrack College is the belief that every young person is uniquely and wonderfully made by a loving Creator. This foundation shapes how we teach, support, and care for each student.

Our ethos reflects the Christian faith expressed across all Gems Education services. We encourage students to explore their God-given value, develop resilience and character, and make wise, purposeful choices. Through grace, respect, and truth, we seek to nurture meaningful relationships and a positive learning culture for every student.

What This Means for Students
Our story, purpose, and Christian foundation shape a learning environment built on support, structure, and hope. At Ontrack, students benefit from consistent routines, strong relationships, and teaching that meets them where they’re at—helping them re-engage, experience success, and move confidently toward the future God has for them.
